Math LiveBinder
26 Math Resources in this LiveBinder. The list is on the left side of the screen, click one to get started and find something new. This binder includes:
  • Would You Rather?
  • Which One Doesn’t Belong?
  • 3 Act Math
  • Desmos
  • and Math Snacks, Just To Name A Few!
Math Snacks has some fun ways to relate math to the real world! When first on the page, you’ll see a table with lesson titles and which of the following categories they address (number & operations, ratio & proportion, measurement & scale or pre-algebra). Scroll down further on that front page to get to each of the activities. Most have a teacher guide, learner guide, answer key, download option and transcript. Check out “Bad Date” to see them illustrate how the number of words a person speaks can determine whether or not a date goes well. This lesson addresses using ratios and proportions to represent quantitative relationships. Thank you +ESCRegion11 and Wendy Curtner

Something to think about…
Google Keep & Google Docs - The Perfect Combination!
Google Keep is a note feature, similar to Evernote. It has been available for a while, but just recently has been officially added to the Google Suite of tools. This makes it even more useful with a full integration into Google Docs. Below are a couple of quick videos to show you how to use this tool, then another to show you how to use them together. Feel free to share with students to boost their productivity and organization. +Google for Education
What can be done with Google Keep? There are several possibilities, but here are a few specifics, also from +Richard Byrne:
1. Draw notes. (One of my favorite features! By going into the full Google Keep tool, keep.google.com, you can also create drawings on notes.)
2. Make to-do lists.
3. Type notes.
4. Color-code and sort notes.
5. Create reminders.
6. Share notes with other students.
7. Share task lists.
8. Record voice notes.
9. Take picture notes.
10. Send notes to Google Docs.
