What if?
Put Sticky Notes on Webpages with OurStickys - a chrome extension to help with productivity and note-taking. It does ask you to log in and has the Google login option to make things easy. Once you add it, just right click on your screen (on a web page), choose add note and there you are! Thank you +Richard Byrne +Google for Education
  • If you go to a web page that was open before adding the extension, you’ll need to refresh the screen to make it available...but, it should have a pop-up to tell you that.
  • To customize fonts and sticky note colors, click the gear icon at the top of each sticky note.

Create MadLibs in Google Sheets - a fun way for students to practice parts of speech and/or something students can create for others using a template from Flippity.net. Thank you +Richard Byrne for this how-to video: https://youtu.be/smz_3FCFe8I

Secret Santa Made Easy with Google Sheet Add-On - for those launching the annual Secret Santa tradition very soon...this may be a way to lighten the load for the coordinator. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/secret-santa/eoognkhkcdgmnhmlobgnehlpjmdcngkk?utm_source=permalink +Google  image: https://pixabay.com/p-311481/?no_redirect

Something to think about…

How class tech is like grocery shopping and how the SAMR Model is more like a swimming pool than a ladder. This is a nice, short article from +Matt Miller acknowledging the difficulties of integrating tech to reach the redefinition level, but giving you some ideas on how to get there. http://ditchthattextbook.com/2016/11/08/how-class-tech-is-like-grocery-shopping/

Resources…

Once the image is loaded, you can hold down the arrow keys to move fluidly around. http://www.airpano.com/

Battlesheets - Google Sheets template for an online, interactive version of the Battleship game from +Eric Curts  http://www.controlaltachieve.com/2016/11/battlesheets.html creativity, collaborproblem-solvingsolving, communication, critical thinking...it’s all here! +Google for Education
