Did you know?
4 Chromebook Multi-touch Gestures - these might come in handy for your students with Chromebooks. At less than 3.5 minutes, it is a quick video you can show them when you finish up a lesson early. Or you can send them the link and they can watch if interested. At about 40 seconds in, a screen showing his hands on the track pad pops up in the lower right corner...very helpful to see what his hands are doing while you see how the screen reacts. Side note: the 3rd gesture using 4 fingers, works with open windows, not tabs.  Article written by Ben Stegner

Keyboard Shortcuts for Gmail
#4 - The J and K keys - When you’re sorting through emails in your inbox view, or when you’re viewing a specific email, use these keys to move up and down your inbox. To expand a certain email, hit enter. +Gmail
For any of these to work, you’ll need to have “Keyboard Shortcuts” enabled in your Gmail Settings. To do this:
  • in Gmail, click the Gear icon in the upper right area of your screen
  • choose Settings
  • in the General settings window/tab
  • scroll down until you see Keyboard Shortcuts off/on
  • choose Keyboard Shortcuts On
  • scroll to the top or bottom of that screen to Save
